On Sept. 30 we wrapped up the last of our three-class beginner project: the Hansie Top by Seamwork patterns. For most students it was their first time with practically every skill, including measuring, laying out, cutting, marking, and sewing. I think everyone learned to use a seam ripper at some point, especially on the neck facing and understitching.

We learned a lot too. This was our first time teaching this pattern and we thank our first cohort for their patience and diligence with this challenging project.
